Take your camera, you'll want to take lots of pictures The hills of the Tuscan countryside are covered in olive trees and grape vines. The centuries old towns are built of stone and brick with red clay barrel roofs and hand carved wooden doors. Florence is a jewel of art and architecture as well as commerce.

LADIES ONLY TUSCAN WEEK

Sunday afternoon arrival in Perugia (St Egidio airport) or train station.

Monday Breakfast and Italian lesson: essential vocabulary and grammar. Afternoon Tour. Assisi. Visit the Basilica and tomb of Saint Francis. Walk around. Leave Assisi to Perugia - Porta degli Etruschi, Corso Vannucci, Rocca Paolina. Leave Perugia and return home for dinner on the terrace. Evening on your own or watch a movie.

Tuesday Begin the day with breakfast and learn vocabulary for ordering food and wine in restaurants. After lunch, tour Cortona and Montepulciano. Return home for dinner and a movie.

Wednesday After breakfast today's lesson will be on the vocabulary of shopping: designers, styles, fabrics, sizes, prices and quantifiers. Our afternoon tour is to Todi, Deruta ceramics, Torgiano museum and the Cucinelli cashmere factory and shop at Solomeo. Dine at home and see a movie.

Thursday Breakfast and learn the vocabulary for getting around Florence. After lunch we are on to Sienna. Tour Siena Piazza del Campo and Il Duomo. Then on to San Gemignano. Return home for dinner on Terrace– early to bed

Friday Early breakfast and depart for Florence at 9:00 Visit Mercato San Lorenzo, Palazzo Pitti, Il Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, statue of Davide in Piazza Delle Signorile Gli Uffizzi (lunch as agreed), Piazza Michelangelo.(overlooking the city) Arrive home for our last dinner on the terrace.

Saturday Depart to station or airport after breakfast.
