Card Santa announces the formation of Book Santa! Card Santa is expanding! While we will continue to provide cards as we have been doing for the past ten years, we will now give books to children in shelters. These will be books that each child can keep no matter where their lives take them. Right now, we are working with Carpenter's Shelter here in Washington. We are setting up a system where they will periodically tell us how many new children they have and their ages so we can get them the right type of book. All books will be taken from the American Library Association's (ALA) recommended book lists. For more information click this link.
